About the Book
The Mafia wants him, but she wants him more.
Motivated by her twisted sense of justice, Pandora Melrose has stumbled upon a problem that a dead body can’t fix.
The Detroit Mafia have caught Pandora’s father in deadly debt, and the only way she can free him is by surrendering her body to the Mafia’s right-hand man Marcel Amos.
She was willing to pay any price if it meant protecting her father, until the Mafia touched something they shouldn’t.
The Mafia has their eyes on Kohen Harthwarn, her college crush, and the man who helped her dispose her first dead body. But Kohen’s boyfriend has skills of his own, and getting through Eros and Pandora might just be the thing that destroys their empire.
The Mafia doesn’t know their little princess is a serial killer and that they just made themselves targets.
They’ve opened Pandora’s Box, now let’s see who lives to tell the tale.
Personal Review/Opinion
I personally have become a fan of this author thanks to Little Crane and now My Little Disasters. This book had me starting out hating Eros while rooting for Pandora and Kohen. By the end, Eros was my fiction crush. I found myself fully rooting for the serial killer, Pandora- despite her real body count. I like the fact that you can describe them as morally grey- they don’t kill for fun, although they do enjoy it. They do it for reasons- she will not pretend not to be a monster, but most of the victims deserve it.
The descriptions are graphic enough to know I shouldn’t have read primarily on breaks but was enough to watch the book play out in my head. A few times I zoned totally out and fully lost myself.
I’m still fairly new to the genre, but this Battle has me very interested. Here is a list of the tropes in Disasters, if you’re interested in some FMM action or thrupples- this is a good book.
Tropes in My Little Disasters:
Morally black FMC
